After the audit of the website, all the lists which are made have to be corrected one by one. If there is any error in the website, it is very difficult to get ranked or it cannot be ranked at all. Therefore, it is very important to fix all those errors. Let us now know about some of the most commonly found error on the website –

  • JS is not taking much load anywhere.
  • H1 does not have more than one on any single page.
  • The page title is not duplicated.
  • Problems such as website responses, broken links, etc. have to be fixed.

This is where the work of On-site SEO or Onpage SEO starts. To SEO any website, Onpage coding is required on all its pages. In which code like title, meta, open-graph, etc. have to be added. Along with this, sitemap and robot.txt also have to be added to the website.
Before coding onpage, it is necessary to see on which platform your website is built. If it is made on WordPress, it can be done with the help of a plugin or if it is a custom website, then you have to add code to it. I will tell you both ways how to do Onpage SEO and coding on it. first of all-

Onpage coding on custom website:-
If your website is built on custom code ie html, css or php, then for that we have to do SEO coding in the source code of the website. For this you have to go to your cpanel. Before making any changes in the code, make a backup of it, so that if you make a mistake, it can be recovered.

<meta charset=”utf-8″>
<title>This is page title</title>
<!– Search Engine –>
<meta name=”description” content=”This is an example of a meta description by Pctrikz.com”>
<meta name=”keywords” content=”keyword 1, keyword 2″>
<meta name=”image” content=”your image url”>
<!– Twitter –>
<meta name=”twitter:card” content=”summary_large_image”>
<meta name=”twitter:title” content=”This is page title”>
<meta name=”twitter:description” content=”This is an example of a meta description”>
<!– Open Graph general (Facebook & Pinterest) –>
<meta name=”og:title” content=”This is page title”>
<meta name=”og:description” content=”This is an example of a meta description”>
<meta name=”og:image” content=”your image url”>
<meta name=”og:url” content=”your website address”>
<meta name=”og:site_name” content=”your site name”>
<meta name=”og:type” content=”website”>

Let us now know what is the work of all the above codes-

title – This is the title tag, it appears in the top tab of the web browser. This code appears in the largest link of Google in its search results.

meta description – It is used for details about the website. Which has a length of about 150 characters. Google and Bing show results in their search engine only after the title and description on the website.

keywords – although it does not appear in the search results, but use it to give a command to Google. But at this time Google does not give it much priority.

Open Graph or OG – Whenever we post any link on Facebook, it automatically becomes a preview with the image, it is created by this tag. Any image or title you give in OG meta tag will make preview on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media.

<script type=”application/ld+json”>
“@context”: “https://schema.org”,
“@type”: “Organization”,
“name”: “your site title”,
“url”: “your site url/”,
“logo”: “your logo url”,
“sameAs”: [
“Your facebook page url”,
“Your twitter url”

With the help of Schema Markup, we tell Google what category our website belongs to, who is its author, what is the contact service of the website, what are the social media on the website. So that whenever someone searches our website on Google, they can see all information in one place.

Add the above code after <head> and before </head>. Along with this, there is a lot of code which is used along with them. When you start doing SEO, you will understand very well.

Some things you have to do inside the <body> tag as well. For example, there should be only one h1 tag that resembles <title>. Where the image has been used, place the <alt> tag on it, this will let Google Image know to whom your image is related. Also keep in mind that more and more text has been used on the website and all those text has been formatted correctly.

Sitemap – It is very important for any website to have a Sitemap. This tells the Google bot how many pages are on your website or blog. All the links of your website are listed in one place in Sitemap and Google keeps checking this list continuously. With XML Sitemaps Generator you can create sitemap for your website for free and you can upload the sitemap.xml file in cpanel and upload it in the main directory. Note that after uploading, your link will look something like https://www.yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml.

But for google blogger it’s already created and may find it on http://www.yourwebsite.com/atom.xml

If you can’t find it then you can always create one.
